Lattice Framed Art

Well I am finally getting around to posting my latest framed art. It features the new Lattice Sizzix die. 

When I saw this die, I knew I just had to have it. It is one of my favorite things from the new catalog. 

I also used a few other new items. The Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper, For All You Do  stamp set, Rich Razzleberry card stock and ink .

Hit the Road card

This adorable card features the Hit the Road stamp set. You won't find this stamp set in the catalog, it is on the Dormant List.

What an adorable set. It even comes with luggage and a canoe that can be put on the hood of the jeep.

Raspberry Lemonade Purse and cards

Happy Birthday to my friend Michelle. She loves purses so I made her this cute purse with a few cards. 

This purse feature new Raspberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper with coordinating In Colors Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry. 

This paper also matches the new Razzle Dazzle stamp set (image on card).

Tall Tales Framed Art

I LOvE making framed art. It makes such a perfect gift to give a friend or two.

This particular Framed Art was made from Tall Tale Designer Series Paper. 

I was inspired by one of the pieces and

 decided to make a smaller version to fit into this frame. I also used Chocolate Chip Pattern Designer Series Paper, Rose Red and Whisper White card stock.

I wanted the giraffe to look as if he was floating over the hills in his Hot Air Balloon, so I layered the pieces using Stampin' Dimensionals. 

Stampin' Up! has a new stamp set called Animal Stories that features a giraffe just like this one, but about 2 1/2" tall.

Melon Mambo purse

Norma, Paulette and I went to Lorie's house last night. There I made my own purse. Isn't it just precious. 

Later I will finish my cards to go inside.

 This purse is made from one of the new In Colors available July 1st. It is called Melon Mambo. 

The hardware on the purse is the Filigree Designer Brads with Clear Rhinestones Brads in the center.

I stamped the flower from the new stamp set, Kind & Caring Thoughts Hostess, a Level 3 set.

The More the Merrier Birthday card

 I love Cupcakes on a birthday card. 

My card features many new In Color, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry card stock, an Bermuda Bay polka-dot ribbon. 

The new hostess stamp set The More the Merrier has these cupcakes, 5 in a row. 

The cupcake with a heart on it inspired me to create this adorable cupcake out of punches and paper. 

The base is a 1 3/4" square that has been crimped and sides tapered. The frosting top is created using the Wide Oval Punch and the Small Oval Punch. You punch out one Wide Oval, then 3 small divets from the bottom using the Small Oval Punch. Round and rough edge. Finish the cupcake off with the medium heart cut from the Heart to Heart Punch.

Flower Fancy Birthday wish

I LOvE this card I recently did with my Stamp Club ladies. 

The beautiful paper behind the flower is Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper. It is still available to order, but only until June 30.
