The More the Merrier Birthday card

I love Cupcakes on a birthday card.

My card features many new In Color, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry card stock, an Bermuda Bay polka-dot ribbon

The new hostess stamp set The More the Merrier has these cupcakes, 5 in a row.

The cupcake with a heart on it inspired me to create this adorable cupcake out of punches and paper.

The base is a 1 3/4" square that has been crimped and sides tapered. The frosting top is created using the Wide Oval Punch and the Small Oval Punch. You punch out one Wide Oval, then 3 small divets from the bottom using the Small Oval Punch. Round and rough edge. Finish the cupcake off with the medium heart cut from the Heart to Heart Punch.

Party Hearty

Here is a simple birthday card made from Party Hearty stamp set.  I used yesterday's card for inpiration to whip up this quick card to wish my sister's fiance, a Happy Birthday!

One of the nice things about Stampin' Up! stamps is the ability to mount the stamps how you prefer to use them. I mounted the 5 hats, each one separately instead of keeping them in a row. This allows me to stamp each in a different color. The party hats are stamped in the following colors Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Summer Sun, Riding Hood Red and Tangerine Tango

I will miss the In Colors when they are no longer available.

Don't miss out  on getting these beautiful In Colors, order them by June 30.

Flip Tag (Slider-Pull-Up) Card

Tonight I will participate in the Round Robin at my Upline's meeting. I plan to show fellow demonstrators this Technique to make an unique card.

You pull up on the ribbon to reveal a cute surprise.

It may look hard. But it really is a simple technique.

You too can make this card.

I would love to show you how.

More Birthday gifts

This was my gift from Anna

She used the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper on both the card and box.

The card uses the On Your Birthday stamp set, Oval punch, Scallop oval punch and the Scallop Edge punch

I absolutely love how she used the Stampin'Up! Birds and Blooms Sizzlits dies along with the butterfly from the Great Friend stamp set to adorn the top of this adorable box.
What a wonderful way to use the Cheers to You stamp set.

Debbie made this refreshing gift for me. I love the cute little drinks. And can't forget the chocolate. There was more chocolate but I ate some before I took the picture.

She also used the Tart & Tangy and Heard from the Heart stamp sets on my birthday card.

Birthday Gifts

Lorrie made me this adorable Daffodil card and Framed Art.

It is so pretty.

For the card and framed art she used the Inspired by Nature stamp set.

Fabulous friend is part of the Oval All stamp set.

Birthday Wishes is part of the Elegant Cheer stamp set.

I love the daffodils. They are made using the 5 petal punch, Boho Blossom punch and crimper.

Faith made us all these matching frames.

Too cute!

It definitely makes me smile.

It features the Cheep Talk stamp set.

Look at the  flower on the outside of the frame.
She used the words Its your day  ENJOY! from the On Your Birthday stamp set.
This box set was made by Norma

I absolutely love it!

I absolutely love anything with butterflies!

My birthday card features the Garden Greetings stamp set.
The box set and cards use Great Friend  and Oval All stamp sets

I just love these colors combinations. Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Kraft.

Bella Rose Paper Holder with Cork Buttefly

Happy Birthday Anna!

When trying to think of what to make for Anna's Birthday gift, I decided to look through the Stampin' Up! Spring & Summer 2009 idea book & catalog
On page 196 I saw this adorable paper holder and decided to recreate it.

I used the Stampin' Up! Beautiful Butterflies bigz die to cut the butterfly out of corkboard.
Yes the dies cut through it just fine.
The box is created from left over cardboard and Bella Rose Designer Series Paper.

Pink Flamingo Framed Art

Happy Birthday Fairle!

Fairle was one of the Birthday girls on Saturday.

Earlier in the week, I had asked her what she wanted for her birthday.
She told me all she wanted was something/ some kind of art made with Pink Flamingo  Designer Series Paper.

This is what I came up with.

I used markers to ink up these words from the All Holiday stamp set

I cut and layered the different pieces.

Then using the 5/8" Real Red Grosgrain ribbon and new grommets I completed my gift.

Birthday Celebration Shoe Box Swap

Today several of my friends and I gathered to celebrate birthdays. We played a game called Left, Right, Center. What a fun game. Thanks Faith for sharing it.

We had a great lunch and dessert.

One of the best parts of our celebration is our shoe box swap. A shoe box swap is when each person brings a project with everything all ready for everyone to make.

This was my project.

It features an adorable stamp set, Cheap Talk, along with Kind Thanks.

My club members will recognize this as one of our March projects.

Shoe box Swap Projects

Here are some of the shoe box swap projects that I was able to make.

Cathy's project features a Layered Brayer Technique using the Stitched Exotics and Kind Thanks stamp set.

Fairle's project used the Just Beachy and

Define your Life stamp sets

Norma brought this adorable flower pot project.

It uses Stampin' Up! Cherry Blossom embosslits and Little Leaves Sizzlits dies. It also features our new Scallop Oval punch.

More Shoe Box Swap projects

Here's some more Shoe Box Swaps.

Lorrie used the Bag with Scallops Bigz xl and Flower Blossom sizzlits dies to create this cute candy bag.

In Debbie's project we used the Kind Thoughts Flourish Decor Stencil found on page 23 of the Decor Element brochure

Stencils don't have to be just for walls. You can use them to decorate cards, table cloths, photo albums and more.

This one is Anna's. We used the
Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper, Oval All stamp set, Grommet hardware and Scallop Oval Punch featured in the Occasion mini catalog.

We even stamped the inside of the card with the Great Friend stamp set.

 LOvE it! What great projects

It features the Party Hearty Stamp set along with  In Colors Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss

A real simple but great card.

Large Cupcake Card

What a  YUMMY Card. This large cupcake looks good enough to eat.
I stamped the Simple Birthday Thanks stamp on both Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip card stock.

Cut around the line.

Textured the bottom of the cupcake using my paper crimper

For this sparkling cherry, I first colored in the cherry with the Real Red Stampin' Write marker, then covered it with Two Way glue and the red glitter from the Fine Galaxy Stampin' Glitter.

I attached it to my card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Happy Birthday Mom

Here is a beautiful Spring card.

This card is on its way to my mother. It is her Birthday today. Her favorite color is purple, so I used Pale Plum and Perfect Plum card stock.

The tulip bulb is created with the wide oval and oval punches.

You could substitute Happy Easter instead of Happy Birthday.

I want to thank Marcia for inspiring me.

Happy Bird-day Hunter

Wishing my nephew, Hunter,
a Happy Bird-Day!

This card is totally cased from a swap I received a while back from Sherry .

It uses Pun Fun and Itty Bitty Background stamp sets.
