Birthday in a Box

A perfect surprise to keep in your desk drawer for the next birthday.

This Birthday in Box is surely going to delight whom ever you choose to give it to.

This box is
crafted with Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss card stock

The party hats are part of the Party Hearty stamp set

I had my husband cut the
wood from the long strip of wood into 5 pieces, so I could mount each party hat separately.
This allows me to stamp a different hat into different colors giving me a cute effect.

I used the new eyelet border punch to edge the top of the box.

Placed a cupcake, box of matches and a candle inside.

Tied the box up with Tangerine Tango 5/8"Striped Grosgrain ribbon

Don't the cute tag that is punched out with the scallop circle punch. The celebrate you image is also part of the Party Hearty stamp set.

Ok Gina, you know I LOVE boxes. Are you willing to share the dimensions of this box and the lid?? If so, could you post or email me the dimensions? I just bought those hostess cupcakes yesterday. Norma

Norma,
Of course I will share the dimensions. The top I cut 6" x 6". Scored at 1-1/2" all the way around, after border punch sides will be 1-1/4". Don't forget to center border. Cut corners at a diagonal, so tuck in neatly. Bottom is 7-7/8" x 7-7/8" . Scored at 2-1/2" all the way around. Making bottom slightly smaller to fit in.
ENJOY!
